Leipzig, le 9 Mars 2014. Suzie, 34 ans, est la plus jeune propriétaire des quartiers Est de Leipzig. Il y a deux ans, elle a acquis ce bâtiment de 5 étages et 800 mètres carrés pour 30 000 euros. "C'était ça où la ville le rasait. Il y a trop d'immeubles vides ici, la mairie ne sait plus quoi en faire". De cet immense espace à réhabiliter, elle a fait un lieu de vie alternatif, sorte d'utopie communautaire.

La Union, 25.08.2012. Le responsable du centre agricole de la Union, avec son fils, guette la fôret aux alentours. La Union est un hameau faisant partie de la communauté, situé à 2h de marche dans la fôret de San josecito. Son climat en fait un lieu privilégié pour l'agriculture et l'élevage.
